Plovdiv

Plovdiv é a segunda maior cidade do país e uma das mais antigas cidades do mundo,

com seis mil anos de história desde o Neolítico, passando pelos trácios, gregos,

macedónios, romanos, bizantinos, búlgaros, otomanos e de novo búlgaros.

Durante a maior parte da sua história, chamou-se Filipópolis,

Plovdiv is the country's second city and one of the oldest cities of the world,

with six thousand years of history, since the Neolithic, then the Thracians, 
Greeks, Macedonians, Romans, Byzantines, Bulgarians, Otomans 
and Bulgarians again. The city name was Philippopolis for most of it's history.
